Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound boneless ham
- 1 c. maple syrup
- 1/2 c. pecan halves
Method
- Place ham on rack in baking pan.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hrs in 325 degree oven.
- During the last 30 min of baking, pour 1/3 c. maple syrup over the top of the ham.
- In a saucepan, heat remaining syrup with pecan halves.
- Simmer for 5 min.
- When ham is ready to serve, spread pecan halves on top, then pour remaining syrup over the surface.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
- Note: A delightful Southern dish to serve with ham is Country Corn Pudding.
