Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound boneless ham
  • 1 c. maple syrup
  • 1/2 c. pecan halves

Method

  • Place ham on rack in baking pan.
  • Bake for 1 1/2 hrs in 325 degree oven.
  • During the last 30 min of baking, pour 1/3 c. maple syrup over the top of the ham.
  • In a saucepan, heat remaining syrup with pecan halves.
  • Simmer for 5 min.
  • When ham is ready to serve, spread pecan halves on top, then pour remaining syrup over the surface.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
  • Note: A delightful Southern dish to serve with ham is Country Corn Pudding.
