Ingredients
- 1 c. oleo
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 4 c. plain flour
Method
- Cream together oleo, oil and sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and cream of tartar.
- Mix well and add nuts.
- Chill 1 hour.
- Pinch into 1-inch balls and press on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 325° for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes 100 cookies.
- Can be stored in airtight container in refrigerator until ready to use.
