Ingredients

  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 4 c. plain flour

Method

  • Cream together oleo, oil and sugars.
  • Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and cream of tartar.
  • Mix well and add nuts.
  • Chill 1 hour.
  • Pinch into 1-inch balls and press on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 325° for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Makes 100 cookies.
  • Can be stored in airtight container in refrigerator until ready to use.
