Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
  • 1 c. sliced green onion and tops
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced lengthwise through cap and stem
  • 2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 c. chicken stock
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper

Method

  • Partially thaw peas if necessary to get them free.
  • In small casserole dish, greased, place peas and all other ingredients, except stock.
  • Pour stock over mixture in bowl.
  • Cover and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until peas are tender and mushrooms done.
