Ingredients

  • 1 lb. can pears in light syrup
  • 1 pkg. any flavor sugar-free Jell-O
  • 1 c. boiling hot water
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lite cream cheese

Method

  • Drain pears; reserve liquid.
  • Dissolve Jell-O in water.
  • Add reserved juice (and water to make 2 cups).
  • Put liquid and pears in blender and mix well.
  • Add cream cheese, 1/4 at a time.
  • Beat until all is used.
  • Continue beating at medium speed for 3 minutes.
  • Pour into molds or suitable dish.
  • May be used as salad or dessert.
  • Serves 8 to 10.
