Ingredients
- 7 lb. pears
- 7 lb. sugar
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
Method
- Process or grind pears.
- Add sugar and let stand for 2 hours. Add pineapple and lemon juice.
- Cook until thickened, approximately two or more hours.
- Put into sterilized jars. Yields approximately 8 to 12 pints.
