Ingredients

  • 4 ounce. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. confectioners' sugar
  • 1/3 c. peanut butter
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 (9 ounce.) pkg. whipped topping
  • 1 9" graham cracker pie crust
  • 1/4 c. minced peanuts, optional
  • 1/4 c. granulated chocolate, optional

Method

  • Whip cream cheese till soft and fluffy.
  • (This is the secret to a good pie.)
  • Add in sugar and peanut butter.
  • Slowly add in lowfat milk and whipped topping.
  • Pour into pie shell.
  • Sprinkle with nuts or possibly chocolate and freeze till hard, at least 3 hrs.
  • Thaw 10 min before serving.
  • You may want to experiment using chunky peanut butter, a different crust, or possibly different toppings.
  • This recipe makes a great kid's summer treat.
  • Pour filling into popsicle molds and freeze till solid.
  • Serves 8.
