Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 34 cup granulated sugar
  • 34 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 14 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Cream together butter and the sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda.
  • Add to the butter mixture, a small amount at a time,.
  • Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla; mix well.
  • Drop teaspoonfuls of batter 2-inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
