Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 1 egg yolk (large)
  • 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2/3 c. smooth peanut butter
  • 1/3 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar

Method

  • Put rack on third level. Bake at 350°. Grease cookie sheets. Whisk together thoroughly the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Beat on medium until very fluffy and well blended the oil, butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar and brown sugar. Add and beat until well combined the large egg, large egg yolk and vanilla. Stir flour mixture into peanut butter mixture until well blended and smooth. Let dough stand for 5 minutes.
