Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 lb. confectioners sugar
- 6 cubes (14 oz.) chocolate or vanilla flavored candy coating, melted
Method
- In large mixer bowl, beat peanut butter, margarine, vanilla and salt until fluffy; gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then confectioners sugar until smooth.
- Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheets.
- Chill until firm.
- With fork or wooden pick, dip each into melted candy coating, not coating completely; let excess candy coating drip off.
- Place on wax paper-lined baking sheets; let stand or chill until firm.
- Store covered at room temperature or in refrigerator.
- These candies freeze well.
