Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. raw peanuts
Method
- Bring sugar, syrup and water to boil.
- Stir in peanuts slowly, so as not to boil.
- Then keep at rolling boil until nuts begin to pop and brown.
- Remove from heat; add soda.
- Stir well.
- Add salt. Pour onto large well greased platter or sheet, allowing room for candy to spread.
- When cooled, break in pieces.
