Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. blueberry muffin mix
  • 4 c. peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • whipped topping (optional)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Rinse blueberries from mix, rinse with cold water and drain.
  • Arrange peach slices in ungreased 9-inch square pan.
  • Sprinkle blueberries over peaches.
  • Combine water and brown sugar in liquid measuring cup.
  • Pour over fruit.
  • Combine muffin mix, pecans and melted butter in large bowl.
  • Stir until thoroughly blended.
  • (Mixture will be crumbly).
  • Sprinkle crumb mixture over fruit.
  • Sprinkle contents of topping packet from mix over crumb mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
  • Serve warm with warm whipped topping, if deserved.
