Ingredients

  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Combine pecans and margarine and toast in 350° oven for 10 minutes.
  • Drain on paper towel and cool.
  • Melt cream cheese over low heat.
  • Remove from heat and add powdered sugar gradually.
  • Add the 1 teaspoon vanilla and cooled pecans.
  • Pour into a buttered dish and chill before cutting into squares.
