Ingredients
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches (or any fruit), undrained
Method
- Combine first three ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Add milk.
- Stir. Pour mixture into a lightly greased shallow 2-quart casserole. Dot with butter.
- Combine 3 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
- Add to peaches.
- Spoon peach mixture over batter.
- Do not stir.
- Bake at 350° for 50 or 60 minutes or until brown.
- Yields 6 to 8 servings.
