Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. warm water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted oleo
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 5 c. flour

Method

  • Mix yeast, sugar and water until dissolved.
  • Combine with remaining ingredients, except flour.
  • Gradually add flour.
  • Knead lightly.
  • Place in a covered bowl and let rise 2 hours.
  • Punch down and let rise again until double in size.
  • Roll out and cut to desired size.
  • Let rise in buttered pans 1/2 hour.
  • Bake at 375° for 10 or 15 minutes.
  • Yields approximately 50 party size rolls. Freezes well.
