Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. melted oleo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 5 c. flour
Method
- Mix yeast, sugar and water until dissolved.
- Combine with remaining ingredients, except flour.
- Gradually add flour.
- Knead lightly.
- Place in a covered bowl and let rise 2 hours.
- Punch down and let rise again until double in size.
- Roll out and cut to desired size.
- Let rise in buttered pans 1/2 hour.
- Bake at 375° for 10 or 15 minutes.
- Yields approximately 50 party size rolls. Freezes well.
