Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
  • 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can (1-1/3 cups) water or milk
  • 2 cups MINUTE White Rice, uncooked

Method

  • Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken; cover.
  • Cook 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from skillet.
  • Add soup and water to skillet; stir.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Stir in rice.
  • Top with chicken; cover.
  • Cook on low heat 5 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Variations: Cheesy Broccoli Chicken & Rice: Stir in 2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets, thawed, and 1/4 lb.

  • VELVEETA Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread, cut up, with rice.
  • Continue as directed.
  • Cheese & Salsa Chicken & Rice: Substitute 1 jar (16 oz.)
  • TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Thick ?N Chunky Salsa for soup.
  • Increase water or milk to 1-1/2 cups.
  • Continue as directed, topping chicken with 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese; cover.
  • Continue cooking on low heat 5 minutes.
  • BBQ Chicken & Rice: Substitute 3/4 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce for soup.
  • Increase water to 2 cups.
  • Add 1 cup frozen corn with water and barbecue sauce.
  • Continue as directed.
  • Oriental Chicken & Rice: Substitute cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken soup.
  • Add 3 Tbsp.
  • soy sauce with soup and water.
  • Stir in 1 pkg.
  • (16 oz.)
  • frozen stir-fry vegetables, thawed, with rice.
  • Continue as directed.
  • Italiano Chicken & Rice: Substitute 2 cups jarred spaghetti sauce for soup.
  • Reduce water or milk to 1 cup.
  • Continue as directed, topping chicken with 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and 1/4 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese; cover.
  • Continue cooking on low heat 5 minutes.
  • Creamy Green Bean Chicken & Rice: Substitute condensed cream of mushroom soup for chicken soup.
  • Stir in 1 pkg.
  • (10 oz.)
  • frozen green beans, thawed, with rice.
  • Continue as directed.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle with 1/2 cup canned French fried onions.
  • Chicken & Rice Florentine: Increase water or milk to 1-1/2 cups.
  • Stir in 1 pkg.

  • frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained, and 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Swiss or Cheddar Cheese with rice.
  • Continue as directed.
