Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Method

  • Spray 13 x 9-inch pan with Pam.
  • Combine pecans and coconut and put in bottom of pan.
  • Mix cake mix according to directions on package and pour over pecan and coconut mixture.
  • Melt in saucepan 1 stick of butter.
  • Add cream cheese and powdered sugar; heat until mixed thoroughly.
  • Pour over top of cake batter.
  • Bake at 325° for about 40 minutes.
