Ingredients
- 2 qt. oysters (retain liquid)
- 2 cans artichokes (retain liquid)
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 qt. water
- seasoning to taste
Method
- Saute onions, celery and garlic in butter.
- Add flour to sauteed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add water and seasonings.
- Add chicken broth, artichokes and liquid; heat for 10 minutes.
- Add oysters and liquid and heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve when oysters are plump.
