Ingredients

  • 16 slices English bread, crusts removed
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. diced ham
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. corn flakes, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter

Method

  • Place 8 slices of bread on bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with cheese and ham.
  • Cover with remaining bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Before baking, top with corn flakes and drizzle with butter.
  • Bake uncovered 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
  • Let stand 10 minutes and serve.
