Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus, ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger or 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 425F Place the asparagus in a shallow baking dish.
  • Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger together in a small bowl, and pour evenly over the asparagus.
  • Toss the asparagus with your hands to mix thoroughly.
  • Roast the asparagus for about 10 to 15 minutes, until bright green and just tender.
  • Serve hot.
