Ingredients
- 1 lb. orange slice candies
- 2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. oleo
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Dice orange slice candies.
- Combine with pecans, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon flour and mix.
- Set aside.
- Cream oleo with brown sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Sift together flour and salt; add to the mixing bowl and blend well. Fold in orange and nut mixture.
- Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake 2 hours at 270°; cool.
- Wrap in foil and refrigerate.
- Keeps 2 weeks.
