Ingredients

  • 1 lb. orange slice candies
  • 2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Dice orange slice candies.
  • Combine with pecans, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon flour and mix.
  • Set aside.
  • Cream oleo with brown sugar.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
  • Sift together flour and salt; add to the mixing bowl and blend well. Fold in orange and nut mixture.
  • Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
  • Bake 2 hours at 270°; cool.
  • Wrap in foil and refrigerate.
  • Keeps 2 weeks.
