Ingredients
- 3 onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. boiling water
- 3 potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
- 1 qt. milk, scalded
- salt and white pepper to taste
Method
- Saute onions in butter; stir in flour.
- Add water gradually. Combine potatoes with milk and add to onion mixture.
- Season and puree.
- Reheat gently when ready to serve.
