Ingredients
- turkey giblets
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 c. water
- 1 can onion soup
- 8 Tbsp. turkey drippings
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 3 1/2 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Combine giblets (except liver) and neck with bay leaf and water in a saucepan.
- Heat to boiling; stir in soup. Simmer 40 minutes. Add liver and simmer 20 minutes until tender. Remove giblets. Measure broth and add water (if necessary) to make 3 1/2 cups.
