Ingredients

  • 3 c. unbleached flour
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 3 c. hot tap water
  • 1 Tbsp. wheat germ
  • 5 to 6 c. flour

Method

  • Heat oven to 425°.
  • In large mixing bowl, mix the 3 cups flour, salt and yeast.
  • Put the honey and water into a quart jar and shake to mix well.
  • Add this mixture to the flour.
  • Stir and add one cup of flour at a time until you can no longer stir.
  • Then using your hands, knead very well.
  • Make rolls and place into a greased pan. Let rise about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Place into the oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes (when golden brown, they are done).
