Ingredients
- medium size cucumbers
- vinegar
- fine salt
- pulverized table mustard
Method
- Prepare a pickling mixture by adding to each cup of vinegar you desire to use, 1 tablespoon each of fine salt and pulverized table mustard.
- Put this mixture into a glass fruit jar or jars, or a stone crock.
- Select medium size cucumbers; wash and dry them thoroughly, as the secret of this process lies in their being absolutely dry when dropped into the mixture.
- Put in a sufficient quantity to be well covered; cover jar tightly.
- They are ready for use the following day.
- By replenishing cucumbers as pickles are used, a progressive supply is assured at any time during the summer.
