Ingredients
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. canned whole corn, drained
- milk
- deep oil (for frying)
- powdered sugar
Method
- In bowl, mix all ingredients, using just enough milk to moisten.
- Batter should be stiff.
- Drop by tablespoon into deep oil at 325° and fry to golden brown.
- Roll in powdered sugar and serve warm.
