Ingredients
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 2 c. milk
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- raisins
Method
- Add cooked rice to milk and heat to scalding in double boiler. Beat egg yolks with sugar.
- Add rice mixture slowly and beat. Pour back in double boiler and cook until thick.
- Fold in raisins. Place in buttered casserole; cover with meringue and brown.
