Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 5 eggs, separated
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
Method
- Cream butter; work into flour until mealy.
- Beat egg yolks, sugar and vanilla until thick and fluffy.
- Add first mixture, beating thoroughly.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Beat for 15 minutes. Bake at 325° for 1 hour in greased tin.
