Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pt. sliced okra
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 to 1 Tbsp. garlic
- 4 to 6 large fresh tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 medium onions, chopped
Method
- Fry bacon and save to crumble into mix later. Fry okra and onions in bacon drippings on medium heat until okra quits stringing. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and garlic. Cook until liquid has reduced. Add crumbled bacon. Stir and serve. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
