Ingredients
- 2 lb. sliced okra
- 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 c. diced onions
- 6 fresh tomatoes, cubed
- salt and pepper
Method
- Fry okra in oil; add celery and onion. Cook until slightly brown.
- Remove from heat.
- Drain off excess grease.
- Return to heat; add tomatoes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer approximately 40 minutes.
