Ingredients
- 100 grams Unsalted butter
- 1 Egg
- 120 grams Cake flour
- 70 grams Oatmeal
- 70 grams Soft brown sugar
- 50 grams Chocolate chips
- 50 grams Walnuts
Method
- Sift the flour and beat the egg.
- Roughly break up the walnuts by hand.
- Spread them out on a heatproof plate, wrap, dry roast in the microwave for 3 minutes, then let them cool down.
- Bring the butter to room temperature and whisk in the sugar until it turns white.
- Mix in the egg in batches.
- Add the flour, oatmeal, chocolate chips and walnuts in that order, mixing with a rubber spatula with each addition.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper, and use two spoons to drop mounds of dough onto the tray.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 170C.
- They are done when nicely browned.
