Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. raisins or chocolate chips
- 3 c. quick Quaker oats
Method
- Mix shortening and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk, vanilla, raisins or chips and oats mixture.
- Drop dough on cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes at 350°.
- Makes approximately 36 cookies.
