Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 12 ounces Dark Chocolate Chips

Method

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat together brown sugar, butter, egg and vanilla
  • Stir in flour, oats and baking soda. Dough will be stiff.
  • Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake 8 minutes or until light brown around the edges. Let cool slightly and transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
