Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites, beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 14 soda crackers, finely crushed
  • 1/4 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • fresh peaches or other fruit

Method

  • Mix and beat first 5 ingredients until egg whites look dry; place in a large pie dish, rounding sides up.
  • Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until dry and light brown.
  • Add fresh peaches or any other fruit desired sliced, sweetened and drained.
  • Cover with whipping cream or Cool Whip.
  • Let set a few hours in refrigerator or can be refrigerated overnight.
