Ingredients

  • 8 oz rice vermicelli noodles
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 1/2 lbs broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 None red chili pepper, chopped
  • 1 None green chili pepper, chopped

Method

  • Soak noodles in warm water for 15 mins; drain well.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in wok on high heat. Stir-fry noodles and soy sauce for 2 mins. Remove from wok.
  • Heat remaining oil in wok. Stir-fry garlic and steak until steak is browned all over. Add broccoli, oyster sauce, cornstarch mixture, vinegar and sugar; stir-fry until mixture boils and thickens. Serve over noodles. Sprinkle with chili peppers.
