Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 to 2 c. tomato juice
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small container cottage cheese
  • egg noodles

Method

  • Brown ground beef and onion together; drain.
  • Add oregano, basil, tomato juice and tomato paste; simmer.
  • Fix egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
  • Mix noodles, cottage cheese and sauce together and pour into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Layer Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour.
