- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 medium onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery with leaves
- 3 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. catsup
- dash or 2 Worcestershire
- 1 can tomato puree
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Method
- Cook ground beef in 2 tablespoons oil until all the red is gone, then add onions.
- Saute for about 10 minutes.
- Do not brown. Add remaining ingredients, except Parmesan cheese.
- Cook not less than 2 hours.
- Just before serving, add cheese and stir.
- Serve over spaghetti noodles.
