Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. None Such mincemeat, crumbled
Method
- Cream together until fluffy the shortening and sugar.
- Add eggs; beat
- until smooth.
- Stir together the flour, soda and salt. Add to first mixture.
- Stir crumbled mincemeat into dough.
- Drop onto greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart by rounded teaspoonfuls. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375° until lightly browned.
- Makes about 6 1/2 dozen.
- A tasty, mild, fruity cookie.
