Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. stew beef, cut up
- 5 peeled and cubed potatoes
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 4 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
- 5 peeled and cubed carrots
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 2 c. water
Method
- In layers, place all ingredients in order given into big roasting pan with cover (or use aluminum foil).
- Bake at 275° for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
- Do not open oven door until done.
- Do not mix. Very important!
- Do not peek!!
