Ingredients

  • 200 grams Pancake mix
  • 40 grams Margarine (or butter)
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1 Chocolate bar
  • 1 Freezer bag

Method

  • Put the freezer bag on a kitchen scale, then add the margarine and pancake mix while measuring.
  • Rub through the bag.
  • Add half of the milk and rub again.
  • Add the remaining milk a little at a time while keeping an eye on the consistency.
  • When the dough comes together together, it's ready.
  • Add the broken up chocolate and fold it into the dough.
  • (I add milk chocolate at this point )
  • Shape the dough into a long piece, then remove from the bag and cut into 3-4 pieces.
  • Then, cut each piece diagonally into triangles.
  • (This will make them look like the scones from Starbucks.)
  • Bake in an oven at 170C for 25 minutes to finish.
