Ingredients
- 1 qt. small new potatoes
- 2 qt. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- pepper to taste
- 1 c. sweet milk
- biscuit dough
Method
- Peel and quarter potatoes.
- Put in a 4-quart kettle along with the water.
- Add the salt and pepper, butter and milk.
- Boil until potatoes are tender.
- Roll biscuit dough 1/4-inch thick.
- Cut into 2-inch squares and drop into rapid boiling potato broth.
- Cook dumplings 2 minutes.
- Best served while hot.
