Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli or fresh
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (12 oz.) can Mexicali corn, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans, drained
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Cook broccoli and drain.
  • Set aside.
  • In a 2 quart casserole melt butter in microwave on High 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Stir in cornstarch and microwave on High an additional 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until butter is slightly thickened.
  • Add veggies, garlic salt and cheese.
  • Heat on High in microwave 10 minutes, stirring twice.
  • Serves 8.
