Ingredients
- 32 whole Caramels, Unwrapped
- 5 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Quick Cooking Oatmeal
- 3/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 3/4 cups Butter, Melted
- 1-1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cups Broken Pecans
Method
- Melt caramels in milk. Cool slightly, set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F.
- Blend flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, salt, soda and butter until crumbly; divide crumbs in half. Press 1/2 mixture in a 7x11 inch BUTTERED pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle baked crust with chocolate chips, nuts and drizzle melted caramels over. Sprinkle with remaining crumbles. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees F.
- Serves 15.
