Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. shortening
- 3 c. flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar (white)
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Cut shortening into flour.
- Mix egg with water, vinegar and salt.
- Add to flour mixture and blend well.
- Rest dough 5 minutes. Roll out and trim to fit pie plate.
- Makes two 9-inch crusts.
