Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken breasts, cooked
  • 3 eggs, hard-cooked and sliced
  • 1/2 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 4 oz. can mushroom pieces
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 3 1/2 oz. can fried onion rings

Method

  • Remove chicken from bones and skin. Cut into small pieces. Mix chicken with next 12 ingredients. Pour into 13 x 9 casserole dish; top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Sprinkle onion rings over top. Bake 15 minutes longer.
