- 4 whole chicken breasts, cooked
- 3 eggs, hard-cooked and sliced
- 1/2 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. celery, finely chopped
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. sour cream
- 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
- 4 oz. can mushroom pieces
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 3 1/2 oz. can fried onion rings
Method
- Remove chicken from bones and skin. Cut into small pieces. Mix chicken with next 12 ingredients. Pour into 13 x 9 casserole dish; top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Sprinkle onion rings over top. Bake 15 minutes longer.
