Ingredients
- 1 pkg. butter-type cake mix (yellow, chocolate or lemon)
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar (3 c.)
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Mix cake mix, butter and eggs thoroughly and spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Beat next 3 ingredients until smooth and spread gently over batter in pan.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Topping will become firmer as cake cools.
