Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1/2 c. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- shortening for browning steak
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 soup cans water
Method
- Cut steak into serving pieces.
- Mix salt and pepper with flour.
- Brown steak (do not fry).
- Cook just long enough to brown both sides.
- Drain steak on paper towel.
- Mix soup with 2 cans of water in baking dish or roaster.
- Add steak.
- Cover.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°.
- Makes 6 servings.
