Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter (oleo)
- box lemon cake mix
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil
- 1 (8 oz.) light cream cheese
- 1 1/4 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts or your choice
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 egg yolk
Method
- Blend butter and cream cheese and egg yolk until fluffy.
- Turn into cake mix 1/3 at a time.
- Fix last portion by hand.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop by level tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
- For bar cookies use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
