Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 small can evaporated milk and 1 can water
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
- Melt butter with milk and water.
- Add sugar, eggs, salt and the dissolved yeast (all at room temperature).
- Add flour 1 cup at a time until dough no longer sticks to hands.
- Cover dough with a towel and let rise in warm area until dough doubles in size.
