Ingredients
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 c. meal
- pinch of salt
- 3 c. boiling water
- 1/2 lb. sausage, crumbled and fried
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Method
- Mix the first 3 ingredients and add boiling water.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- In the meantime, fry sausage.
- Press out grease.
- Add brown sugar to mush along with the sausage, stirring well until blended.
- When cold, slice and fry.
- Good with syrup or eggs.
