Ingredients

  • 2 (15 oz.) cans black beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 large green pepper, sliced in thin strips
  • 3/4 c. medium or hot salsa
  • 1/2 c. nonfat Italian dressing
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 large tomato, chopped

Method

  • Rinse and drain all beans.
  • Combine beans, onion and pepper in large bowl.
  • In small bowl combine salsa, Italian dressing, sugar and salt.
  • Add to bean mixture.
  • Chill for several hours.
  • Stir in chopped tomato before serving.
